AceShowbiz - Tricia Lynn McCauley was found dead on Tuesday, December 27. The actress who once played a stand-in for Jenna Dewan Tatum in 2006's dance movie "Step Up" had been missing since Christmas Day so her family contacted police.
The 46-year-old star who worked as a yoga teacher after leaving acting didn't show up at a Christmas dinner and missed her flight out of DC Monday. Her body was later discovered in her car. There were signs of carjacking and trauma on the body.
A man who was seen driving her Toyota around Washington DC has been arrested. Rumor has it, the suspect robbed a drug store and attacked the employees before McCauley disappeared. "We do not believe at this time that the suspect knew the victim," police said.
