"Pitch Perfect 3" is circling another talented actress. Variety has reported that "Orange Is the New Black" star Ruby Rose is in negotiations to join the cast of the third installment of the "Pitch Perfect" movie series that will arrive in U.S. theaters on December 22, 2017.

Details about Rose's character are still kept under wraps, so are that of the plot. In the upcoming comedy movie which will be helmed by Trish Sie ("Step Up All In"), the Stellan Carlin depicter will share screen with the returning cast members, including Elizabeth Banks, Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and Brittany Snow.

Sie, who took over the helming duty from Banks, will direct the movie from a script written by Kay Cannon, with additional drafts from Mike White and Dana Fox. Meanwhile, Banks remains attached as a producer along with Brownstone Productions' Max Handelman and Gold Circle Entertainment's Paul Brooks.

Rose recently wrapped up filming on horror sci-fi "Meg" opposite Jason Statham. The 30-year-old Australian actress can next be seen in "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" and "XXX: The Return of Xander Cage" alongside Vin Diesel. She also takes a villain role in Keanu Reeves' "John Wick: Chapter Two".
