AceShowbiz - Happy birthday Jay-Z! The "Ni**as in Paris" hitmaker and his wife Beyonce Knowles celebrated his 47th birthday on Saturday night, December 3 with a private dinner in Los Angeles. The party was attended by his close friends and family, including mom Tina Knowles and Kelly Rowland.
Tina was one of the first to show up at celeb hot spot Republique. Wearing a khaki jacket, black leather pants and khaki boots, she was accompanied by her husband Richard Lawson. Kelly, meanwhile, arrived at the French eatery with her hubby Tim Witherspoon. The Destiny's Child member donned a grey fedora paired with a silver long coat, a black top, pants and heels.
All guests looked in happy spirits that night as they were ready to celebrate Jay-Z's birthday.
Jay-Z and Beyonce weren't pictured coming to the venue, but Kelly and her husband were spotted mingling outside the restaurant with Tina. The powerhouse couple tried to keep the celebration under wraps as they had the Hollywood hot-spot completely covered in dark colored tarps. Restaurant employees were seen covering the entryway and all of the venue's windows to ensure privacy for the A-list bash.
