First Look at New Xenomorphs in 'Alien: Covenant' Leaks

The leaked pictures show the alien hybrid and eggs, the familiar Space Jockey as well as the slightly-altered Facehugger.

AceShowbiz - The hideous creatures that will be featured in the upcoming "Alien: Covenant" have been unveiled online. Taken from the filming set, the leaked images tease what to expect from the much-awaited sequel to Ridley Scott's 2012 sci-fier "Prometheus".

Among the pictures is a first look at a never-before-seen species that might be the new Neomorphs Michael Fassbender hinted at a recent interview. Courtesy of SoIsItAnyGood.com, the photos also offer a glimpse at the familiar Space Jockey, a revamped version of Facehugger, and a cave full of alien eggs.

The hybrid is reportedly "the result of the local ecosystem being mutated by the accelerant/black goo. Over time, pods started to grow on the trees and the ground, and release a spore when disturbed." The adult Neomorphs walk on their back legs and have fang-like teeth.

The sequel taking place ten years after the events in the previous film will hit theaters Stateside on August 4, 2017. Fassbender will return along with Noomi Rapace while Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Jussie Smollett and Danny McBride are among the new additions.
