Are Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban the next A-list couple calling it quits? They are, according to Star magazine which reported that the pair had been "leading separate lives for nearly a year" because of their constant fighting.
A friend of the couple's claimed that Kidman and Urban looked happier when they're spending time away from each other. "It's sad to say, but I believe Nicole and Keith have actually been happier apart," said the friend.
"Because on the rare occasion they can spend time together, they end up bickering over the slightest little thing, and it gets exhausting," the pal continued. "I wouldn't be at all surprised if they released a joint divorce announcement soon."
The publication cited another source who hinted at the pair's split. "It's devastating, but these last few months have been like a trial separation for Keith and Nicole. I think it may only be a matter of time before they formally split," the source shared.
But fans shouldn't have to worry about the duo. In response to the breakup rumor, Gossip Cop called another insider who can assure everyone that the Star claims are all fabricated. Also proving that there's nothing wrong with their relationship is a picture and sweet message Urban recently shared on Instagram as he celebrated his birthday.
The country singer posted a snap of his actress wife hugging him as they both smiled at the camera. "Best birthday EVER!!! Love u baby xxxxxxx," he wrote in the caption before going on to thank his fans and everyone who wished him a happy birthday. "I say THANK YOU and I love you all. I feel incredibly blessed," he added.
