No More Sexy Selfies? Kim Kardashian Is Re-Emerging 'More Covered Up' and 'Less Make-Up'

A new report says that the reality TV star will wear more conservative outfits and even replace her jewelry with a cross when she decides to return to the spotlight.

AceShowbiz - It looks like nothing will be the same for Kim Kardashian following the terrifying Paris robbery. According to a new Daily Mail report, the reality TV star has been spending her time away from the spotlight to completely "rebrand" herself.

The publication says that Kim is going to be a very different person when she decides to return to the public eye. "She doesn't feel she needs to define herself by all the glitz and flashiness of it all," a source close to the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star shares.

"So she'll probably re-emerge a little more subdued - She's talking about doing less make-up, no more sexy photo shoots, more covered up, doing a lot of charity work," the source adds. "She also feels that it's time for her to temper the flashiness of her brand image - the diamonds, the Rolls Royces and the other stuff, the furs and all of that."

In addition to the more covered-up clothes, Kim reportedly wants to look "holier" by replacing her jewelry with a cross. "She thinks you can be sexy without being too revealing. She wants to wear clothes that are a little bit more conservative," the source explains. "She wants to wear a cross - like as her signature, wearing a cross instead of lots of jewelry."

Daily Mail also alleges that Kim is doing great following the scary ordeal and is hiding from everyone not because of the trauma. The same source claims that the 36-year-old beauty chooses to hole up in her house simply because she doesn't want people to think she's alright.

"She's doing a lot of work but she's not emotionally disturbed. She's certainly not as upset or affected by this [the robbery] as people are portraying her to be," the source says. "She's been focusing on her business and she hasn't left the house because she doesn't want it to appear as though she's fine, because she's getting a lot of sympathy right now."

The source adds, "The longer that she stays away, the more compassion the fans will have for her and the more excited they will be about her comeback."

It has been three weeks since five masked men raided Kim's Paris apartment and stole her jewelry, including a $4 million diamond ring from her husband Kanye West. The mother of two hasn't responded to the Daily Mail story, but members of her family and her closest friends all have said that Kim is still shaken and traumatized by the burglary. She even had to cancel her birthday party on October 21 because of that.
