The actor said he's 'pissed' at his former 'That '70s Show' co-star because he had to find out about her engagement to Ben Foster through the media.

The only thing Ashton Kutcher hates about Laura Prepon's engagement to Ben Foster is the fact that he learned of the happy news through the media. The actor jokingly slammed his longtime friend and former "That '70s Show" co-star during their appearance on "Live! With Kelly" Friday, October 7.
Kutcher served as a guest co-host to Kelly Ripa in the episode, while Prepon visited the show to promote her new movie "The Girl on the Train". Before the actress came out on the stage, the 38-year-old hunk told Ripa and the audience how upset he was when he found out about the engagement.
"She just announced this engagement, and I had to find out in the news! And she's my friend!" said Kutcher, who ironically also kept his own engagement and marriage to another "That '70s Show" alum Mila Kunis a secret for years.
"And it's not just a random engagement. It's an engagement to another friend of mine!" he continued complaining. "So I'm double upset that neither of them told me! I got off the plane in New York like, 'What?' "
Later when Prepon showed up, he immediately confronted her, saying he's so "pissed" at her and it was so "unacceptable" to keep the news a secret from him. "If anyone understands the private lives, you get it," she defended herself.
"Oh, I get it. But 'private lives' includes friends!" Kutcher insisted. "That's what happens! I shouldn't find out when I get off the plane!" Joking about her role on "Orange Is the New Black", Prepon said, "I've been in prison! I have limited communication with people!"
Prepon confirmed her engagement to Foster when they made a red carpet appearance together earlier this week. She flashed the diamond ring during the New York premiere of "The Girl on the Train".
