AceShowbiz - Screen Gems has released a new teaser trailer for "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" ahead of its panel at NYCC on Friday, October 7 at 1:30-2:30 P.M. It features Milla Jovovich, who is back as Alice, confronting Iain Glen's Dr. Alexander Isaacs who has transformed into a zombie.
Isaacs taunts Alice, telling her, "I am the future." Alice laughs, before saying, "No, you're just another a**hole... And we are both gonna die down here." There is also a glimpse of Alice in the laser room as well as her and her friends being surrounded by the zombie hordes.
Written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, the sixth installment of the "Resident Evil" movie series will hit U.S. theaters on January 27, 2017. Ali Larter and Shawn Roberts return as Claire Redfield and Albert Wesker respectively. Other cast members include Eoin Macken, Rola, Fraser James, William Levy and Ruby Rose.
In "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter", Alice is the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity's final stand against the undead hordes. She must return to where the nightmare began - Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse.
In a race against time, Alice will join forces with old friends and an unlikely ally in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between regaining her superhuman abilities at Wesker's hand and Umbrella's impending attack, this will be Alice's most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.
