Yes, it's happening! Jake (Andy Samberg) will meet Jess (Zooey Deschanel) in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" / "New Girl" crossover, which has been previewed in a newly released promo. In the video, Jake runs into Jess who visits New York with Schmidt (Max Greenfield), Nick (Jake Johnson) and Winston (Lamorne Morris), as Schmidt believes he is being honored at his high school.
The crossover begins on "Brooklyn" next Tuesday, October 11 at 8 P.M. ET/PT. Struggling with his first case back at the precinct, Jake enlists Jess to help him find his suspect. Later in a "New Girl" episode that will air at 8:30 P.M. ET/PT, Jess helps Jake on a case, which leads her to Brooklyn's 99th Precinct and a fateful encounter with Gina Linetti (Chelsea Peretti) and Capt. Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher).
Meanwhile, Nick and Winston scramble to make subway fare, while trying to impress Det. Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio), and Cece faces off with her new mother-in-law (Nora Dunn).
