Jennifer Garner joked she's dating Brad Pitt during an outing in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles on Sunday, October 2. The estranged wife of Ben Affleck decided to joke around with the shutterbugs after being asked about her love life.

"Brad Pitt and I are dating," Garner, who sported an all-black outfit, said in a video shared by X17online. The videographer then asked, "You're dating Brad Pitt?" The "Elektra" actress laughed and said, "Yeah!" She and her female pal continued to giggle their way to the car with coffees in hands.

Garner's comment might be a bit awkward amidst Pitt and Angelina Jolie's divorce battle. In fact, the "Miracles from Heaven" actress compared her split from Affleck to that of Pitt and Jennifer Aniston earlier this year. "When Jen Aniston and Brad Pitt broke up," she told Vanity Fair, "I was dying to see something that said they were getting back together."

Rumor has it, Garner and Affleck decided to call off their divorce after seeing Brangelina's messy divorce. "After witnessing all the mud-slinging between Brad and Angelina in the media, Ben and Jennifer have realized that they don't want to stoop so low that they would end up destroying not only each other's Hollywood careers, but their family and children's lives as well," claimed Celeb Dirty Laundry.

The estranged couple was allegedly willing to repair their marriage and fake their happiness to save their movie careers and avoid the drama surrounding Pitt and Jolie.
