The 'Insider Amy Schumer' star places fourth on the male-dominated list with an estimated $17 million earned in the last year.

AceShowbiz - Amy Schumer has just set a new record. The comedienne proves that she is a force to be reckoned with in the male-dominated industry by becoming the first woman to ever crack Forbes' list of top-paid comedians.

The "Trainwreck" actress is estimated to have earned $17 million between June 1, 2015 and June 1, 2016, which is enough to place her fourth on the list. Her earnings come from several sources, including her Comedy Central sketch series "Inside Amy Schumer", her tour with Aziz Ansari, her $8 million book advance for "The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo", her role in "Trainwreck" as well as her Super Bowl commercial for Bud Light.

The 35-year-old recently was coy when asked if her Peabody Award-winning show would return for a fifth season. "I'm going to take number five on the scale... plead the fifth!" she said on "Watch What Happens Live".

Back to the list, Kevin Hart takes the top spot with a whopping $87.5 million, becoming the first person to dethrone comedy vet Jerry Seinfeld, who places second with an estimated $43.5 million. The "Think Like a Man" star earned most of the money from his stand-up gigs, which reached about 100 in a 12-month period. He reportedly grossed an average of $1 million at each stop.
