Demi and Joe were stuck in an elevator in a Los Angeles building for hours before getting rescued and heading to their concert.

A reunion with an ex could be awkward, let alone if it happens in an elevator for hours. But that was the case with Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas. The "Camp Rock" co-stars, who briefly dated in 2010, got stuck in an El Lay elevator together while on their way to their concert on Thursday night, September 22.
The former Jonas Brothers member documented the incident in a Snapchat video. "We've been stuck in an elevator for four hours," he said in the clip, while Demi was seen standing behind him. They were not alone though, as Joe's DNCE band mates, bassist Cole Whittle and guitarist JinJoo Lee, were also in the elevator.

Thankfully, they were finally rescued and made it in time for their exclusive concert for Marriott Rewards members at L.A. Live later that night.
Demi and Joe remain friendly since they split in May 2010. The 24-year-old songstress told PEOPLE about sharing the stage with her former boyfriend, "It's really great because we all really bonded when we were younger and toured together."
"We've all watched each other evolve and grow up, and we've been able to be there for one another. It's awesome," she added, "It's great to have friends who are supportive instead of red carpet friends. It feels great and they're family."
