Kanye West officially joins Instagram. The "Famous" hitmaker created his account on Sunday, September 19. While he hasn't put any profile picture on his account, the husband of Kim Kardashian uploaded one arty picture.
The photo shows a person, possibly Kanye himself, driving a car near a stunning, triangle-shaped glass building. Another car is following him behind. The "Gold Digger" rapper has since gathered more than 700,000 followers.
It's unclear how the 39-year-old rapper will be updating his Instagram though as he recently told his Twitter followers that he got rid of his phone "so [he] can have air to create."
Back in March, Kanye revealed in a series of tweets that he was considering joining Instagram. "My tweets are a form of contemporary art only compromised by people trying to tell me what to tweet and not to tweet," he wrote, "On another note I was thinking about getting an Instagram but only on one condition - no one can ask me or try to tell me what to Instagram. It's my art."
Kanye will continue his "Saint Pablo Tour" on Tuesday, September 20 in Houston, Texas.
