Nick Gordon is found "responsible" for his girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown's death after he failed to show up in court during a hearing pertaining the wrongful death lawsuit filed by Krissy's family. Now all allegations by plaintiffs are legally considered to be admitted by the defendant through omission.
"In court today, we finally finished a long journey for justice for Bobbi Kristina Brown," a lawyer for the Brown family said after the ruling. "The court agrees with us, by striking Mr. Gordon's answer that he is legally responsible for her death. The only thing left to prove is the value of her life. We intend to do that."
Whitney Houston's daughter passed away in July 2015 after Gordon and a friend found her unconscious in a bathtub at her Georgia home. She had been in medically-induced coma for six months before moved to a hospice care. Gordon was later sued by Krissy's family for $50 million in damages.
