AceShowbiz - As the filming on "Spider-Man: Homecoming" is still underway, more sneak peeks from the set of the highly-anticipated superhero flick leak online. Several pictures taken from the Atlanta set offer a first look at The Shocker, who is played by Bokeem Woodbine in the new "Spider-Man" film.

It's unclear whether the man donning the yellow costume is Woodbine himself or a stunt performer. Either way, The Shocker will be a minor villain in the upcoming film as Michael Keaton's The Vulture is already set to be the main bad guy with the help of The Tinkerer, who is portrayed by Michael Chernus.

Details about the character are still kept under wraps, but in the comic books, The Shocker a.k.a. Herman Schultz is a high school dropout and brilliant engineer. He becomes a master thief and uses two gauntlets to emit high-energy blasts. Since the vibrations can be very intense, he wears a heavily insulated costume which can absorb the shock.

In the upcoming superhero flick, Robert Downey Jr., Jon Favreau and Marisa Tomei are set to reprise their roles as Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man, Happy Hogan and May Parker respectively. Also joining the cast ensemble are Zendaya Coleman, Donald Glover, Angourie Rice and Hannibal Buress.

Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein, the new "Spider-Man" film follows young Peter Parker a.k.a. Spider-Man, who is portrayed by Tom Holland, back to his high-school roots. "Spider-Man: Homecoming" will swing into U.S. theaters on July 7, 2017.
