Rihanna hit the stage for the opening performance at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, August 28. The Bajan beauty performed a medley of her hit songs "Don't Stop the Music", "We Found Love" and "Where Have You Been".
RiRi donned an all-pink outfit consisting of a tee, high-waist trousers with cutouts on her thigh and matching shoes. Her black hair was tied up in high ponytail. She completed her looks with red lipstick. The "Umbrella" hitmaker was accompanied by pink-dressed dancers.

Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, meanwhile, delivered the first live performance of their latest hit "Side to Side". The duo also donned pink-themed outfits with Nicki wearing a leotard and thigh-high booties and Ariana sporting a white bratop, trousers and hot pink lacy coat.
