Usher has unveiled two new tracks from his forthcoming eighth studio album "Hard II Love". Fans who pre-order the record will immediately get "Champions" from his latest film "Hands of Stone" and "Missin U".

The first song "Champions" is a wistful anthem which Usher co-wrote with Ruben Blades, Raphael Saadiq and Taura Stinson.

"When we created 'Champions', I wanted it to represent two icons standing toe-to-toe fighting for their countries," Usher told Billboard, "There's such a relationship that happens within that ring...between Sugar Ray Leonard and Roberto Duran. And I wanted to capture that. I wanted Ruben Blades' interpretation of it to be as pure so he wrote his part and the dialect to go between Spanish and English. I wanted it to be as authentic as possible to offer some hope."

The second song "Missin U" is a bouncy R&B number about a potential lover, which lyrics include, "Oh, I'm miss you, already / And I just wanna kiss you, already / So come on, come on, come on / If you are ready, hurry up to the phone / You don't know I miss you, already / Girl I miss you, yeah."

"Hard II Love" is scheduled to be released on September 16.
