The 'Baywatch' actor took a picture with the 22-year-old diver as he congratulated the athlete on the silver medal he recently won in men's synchronized 3m springboard.

AceShowbiz - Zac Efron found his "twin" while visiting the 2016 Rio Olympics in Brazil. After surprising Simone Biles earlier this week, the actor took time to meet his doppelganger Michael Hixon who was among the athletes competing at the sports event.

Hixon is a 22-year-old diver from team USA and many people have numerous times mistaken him for Efron. After the athlete won a silver medal in men's synchronized 3m springboard earlier this week, the "High School Musical" alum personally congratulated him and posed for a photo which they later posted on their respective Instagram pages.

The picture showed Efron donning black shades while grinning and pointing his finger at his "brotha," who also smiled at the camera while hugging the 28-year-old star. "Found my new synchro partner for Tokyo 2020," Hixon joked in the caption.

Efron isn't the only famous face with a look-alike competing at the Rio Olympic. A number of social media users have also pointed out the similarities between Leonardo DiCaprio and archer Brandy Ellis, as well as Kate Middleton and cyclist Pauline Ferrand-Prevot.
