"Game of Thrones" is bringing the election to Westeros. As American citizens are mulling over whom to choose at the upcoming presidential election, fans of the hit HBO series are asked to cast their votes for whom they think should take the Iron throne.
The network launched earlier this month the "GOT Party" marketing campaign on www.TheGoTParty.com to promote the show's sixth season release on digital platforms. Now, it has released video ads introducing the four candidates, Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow, Petyr Baelish and Cersei Lannister.
Dany, the Mother of Dragons, with her slogan "Break the Wheel", is currently tied on the second place with Jon, whose main agenda is to unite "the Realm against the Long Night to come." Littlefinger, who "believes in making the game work for all of us," is surprisingly leading with 35|percent| of total votes so far. Cersei whose slogan is "Power is Power", meanwhile, has gained only 1|percent| of the total votes so far.
The digital polls will be open for another 19 days.
