Hailee Steinfeld Reveals Shocking Truth About Taylor Swift's Squad: We're Not Really Close

Gracing the cover of Seventeen's latest issue, the actress/singer also talks in an interview with the magazine about being bullied when she was younger.

AceShowbiz - Not every member of %cTaylor Swift%'s famous squad gets to spend too much time hanging out with her, it turns out. %cHailee Steinfeld%, who starred in the former country diva's "Bad Blood" visuals and was once believed to be one of her besties, reveals in an interview with Seventeen that they aren't actually that close.

"I think people think we spend a lot more time together than we actually do!" the "Pitch Perfect 2" star tells the magazine for its September issue that she covers. She, however, admits that she still looks up to the 26-year-old songbird, whom she calls "amazing."

To the publication, Steinfeld also reveals that she used to be bullied at school. "There was a period of time where every morning at 7:02, I'd get a prank phone call at my house," she recalls. "That's how I'd start every day, with a threat saying, 'Come to school now. We're going to kick your butt.' So I went to school early and went in the back way."

"And there would be times when I'd come back to my desk and have hand sanitizer all over my books and in my water bottle. People would come by and slam my locker shut when I was still putting my books in it," she continues. "It was just the most absurd things that you are supposed to see only in the movies."

She additionally discusses her music career, saying she's working hard on her debut album and dreaming about headlining a big tour. "I want to make the best first album I can possibly make," she shares. "And I want to get to a level where I can headline my own arena tour. I know that I can make it happen. It's just the beginning. I see the future being really big."
