Britney Spears may be performing at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards. On Wednesday, August 3, the "Make Me" songstress canceled two upcoming "Piece of Me" shows at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas initially scheduled for August 26 and 27.
Ticketmaster apologized to fans who already purchased tickets for the shows and said they would be refunded. "Attention ticket holder! We just learned that due to unforeseen circumstances your upcoming event has been cancelled," read the statement.

It's unknown if Britney will perform or just attend the 2016 MTV VMas which will be held at the Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sunday, August 28.
The news comes after Britney announced her new album "Glory". "#Glory. My new album & the beginning of a new era. Available 8/26 on @AppleMusic. Pre-order tonight at midnight ET," the "Pretty Girls" singer tweeted, adding that fans pre-ordering the CD will get to download her new song "Private Show".
