Megan Fox has been confirmed to return to "New Girl" season 6, but don't expect to see her in the season premiere. The actress isn't going to resurface on the show until midseason, to accommodate her real-life pregnancy. She will appear in eight episodes, according to TVLine.
Fox, who is currently pregnant with her third child with husband Brian Austin Green, first joined the FOX sitcom in season 5 to fill in for the lead actress Zooey Deschanel who took maternity leave. Viewers responded positively to her run, so producers booked her for additional episodes later in the season, including the May finale.
In the season finale, Nick (Jake Johnson) followed his new love Reagan (Fox) to New Orleans for a few months as she adjusts to her new job. It remains to be seen how their relationship goes when the show returns for its sixth season starting on Tuesday, September 20 at 8:30 P.M. on FOX.
