"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" unveiled a new trailer in Warner Bros.' panel at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, July 23. Eddie Redmayne, who plays Newt Scamander, helped debut the footage of the J.K. Rowling wizarding film with director David Yates. The actor handed out wands to each of the 7.000 fans in Hall H before showing the footage.

The video features Newt who tries to recapture his escaping creatures. "We're going to recapture my creatures before they get hurt," he says, "They're currently in alien terrain surrounded by millions of the most vicious creatures on the planet - humans." An Auror named Percival Graves, portrayed by Colin Farrell, is out on the prowl to detain Newt and put the creatures back in the bag.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", which hits U.S. theaters on November 18, follows writer Newt Scamander's adventures in New York's secret community of witches and wizards. The story takes place seventy years before Harry Potter reads his book in school.

Redmayne and Yates were joined by stars Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller and Farrell during the panel. Miller gushed about the opportunity to step into Rowling's wizarding world. He said, "It's like getting your Hogwarts sweater way late in the game, but you're still getting it."

The film also features Jacob (Fogler), the first major character who doesn't have magical power. Fogler said during the panel, "You know, Han Solo wasn't a Jedi," pointing out that he didn't mind being the "No-Maj" among wizards.
