TV

All hell breaks loose in the upcoming installment of the Starz series which is promised to have 'more gore, more guts, and more groovy.'

The first full trailer for "Ash vs. Evil Dead" season 2 that was going to be shown at San Diego Comic-Con has been banned from the convention allegedly for being "too gory." But you can now watch it online as Starz has released the red-band trailer for fans' viewing pleasure.

The video opens with Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) at a party in Jacksonville which is interrupted when the dark power hits the town. Soon, Ash finds himself summoned back to his hometown of Elk Grove with his sidekicks Pablo Simon Bolivar (Ray Santiago) and Kelly Maxwell (Dana DeLorenzo).

There, he meets his former enemy Ruby (Lucy Lawless), who needs his help to retrieve the book, presumably the Necronomicon, and send the Deadites back to hell. Reluctantly drawn into this battle, Ash jumps back into action which often turns messy with "more gore" and "more guts."

"Ash vs. Evil Dead" returns with the new season this October on Starz. The show's panel at SDCC is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 23 at 6:45 P.M. in Room 6A.
