The sister of Kate Middleton confirms her engagement to James Matthews and reveals her plan to marry her fiance next year.

AceShowbiz - Pippa Middleton showed off her engagement ring shortly after news broke out that her beau James Matthews popped the big question. The bride-to-be was seen rocking her new sparkler outside her home in London on Tuesday, July 19.

The socialite and her financier beau also issued a joint statement to confirm their betrothal, "Miss Pippa Middleton and Mr. James Matthews are delighted to announce they became engaged on Sunday, July 17 and plan to marry next year."
"They make a wonderful couple and we wish them every happiness together," Pippa's father Michael Middleton said. A spokesperson for the Kensington Palace congratulated the couple on behalf of Pippa's sister Kate Middleton and Prince William, "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are absolutely delighted with the news."
