Kim Kardashian Proves Taylor Swift Approved the Lyrics on Kanye West's 'Famous'

The reality TV star posted on Snapchat a string of videos showing Swift telling West over the phone she appreciated his decision to tell her about the lyrics before the song's released.

AceShowbiz - Things don't look too good for Taylor Swift. While she has several times denied that she approved Kanye West's "Famous" lyrics about her, some videos posted online by the rapper's wife Kim Kardashian clearly show otherwise.

Months after the song came out and a few weeks after Kardashian said in her GQ interview that Swift lied about not giving it her stamp of approval, the reality TV star supported her husband by posting a series of Snapchat clips showing the Chicago spitter discussing the track with the 26-year-old songbird over the phone.

In the videos, West asked Swift what she thought about the lines, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex," and she didn't sound mad at all. "It's like a compliment kind of," she said. "Go with whatever line you think is better. It's obviously very tongue in cheek either way."

West also told her that he called because he considered Swift his friend and he didn't want to "do rap that makes people feel bad." She replied, "And I really appreciate you telling me about it, that's really nice!" At one point, she told him she knew people would think the song was a diss and she said she would set the record straight during the 2016 Grammys earlier this year.

"And I'm really glad you had the respect to call me that and tell me that as a friend, about the song. It's just a really cool thing to do, and a really good show of friendship. So thank you," she said. "And you know, if people ask me about it, I think it would be great for me to be like, 'Look, he called me and told me about the line before it came out.' Like, 'Joke's on you guys, we're fine.' "

"You guys wanna call this a feud, you wanna call this throwing shade. But right after the song comes out I'm gonna be on a Grammy red carpet and they're gonna ask me about it and I'm gonna be like, he called me," she continued.

Swift, as everyone knew, didn't say anything about the song at the event and instead threw shade at Kanye when accepting the Album of the Year Award for her latest record, "1989". "There will people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame, but if you just focus on the work and you don't let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you're going you'll look around and you'll know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there, and that will be the greatest feeling in the world," she said back then.

After the videos of her and West's phone conversation were released, Swift immediately took to Instagram to respond to it. In a post, she said she took issue with the use of the word "b***h" to refer to her.

"Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me 'that b***h' in his song? It doesn't exist because it never happened," she wrote. "I wanted us to have a friendly relationship... He promised to play the song for me, but he never did."

That moment when Kanye West secretly records your phone call, then Kim posts it on the Internet.
