The members of Red Hot Chili Peppers were asked to sign Metallica's photos and memorabilia by customs officers at an airport in Belarus over the weekend.

AceShowbiz - Red Hot Chili Peppers' members were mistaken for Metallica when they were at an airport in Belarus. According to Flea, they were called into the customs office to sign Metallica's photos and memorabilia by the officers.
Flea shared on Instagram a photo of him signing Metallica's photo. He captioned it, "We were called into customs officials office at an airport in Belarus and they asked us to sign a bunch of Metallica cd's and photos."
"We tried to explain to them that we weren't Metallica but they insisted that we sign anyway," he joked, "They had the power. Well I did play fight fire with with with Metallica once. I love Metallica anyways but I'm no Robert Trujillo."
Red Hot Chili Peppers are touring Europe in support of their latest album "The Getaway". Following a performance at Moscow, Russia's Park Live Festival on Saturday, July 9, the band is scheduled to perform in Perthshire, Scotland for T in the Park on Sunday, July 10.
