Also performing during the singing show's season 10 finale were Blake Shelton who played a new song called 'She's Got a Way With Words' and Zayn Malik who recreated his 'Like I Would' video.

AceShowbiz - Christina Aguilera found a new duet partner in Ariana Grande. After her planned performance with the Whitney Houston hologram got canceled, the coach of "The Voice" took the singing show's stage with the former Nickelodeon star during the season 10 finale on Tuesday night, May 24.

The two ladies teamed up for a song off Grande's latest album, "Dangerous Woman". The petite diva, clad in a white suit, kicked off her set belting out her newest single "Into You" before launching into her just-released LP's title track.

Aguilera emerged on the stage midway through the song, tackling the second verse while being surrounded by a bunch of dancers in all-black outfits. She gave Grande a big hug after they finished the song.

Aguilera was supposed to pay tribute to Houston by singing a duet of "I Have Nothing" and "I'm Every Woman" with a hologram of the late singer. Their set was taped earlier this month and was set to air during the singing show's season finale, before it leaked online and the Houston estate decided to scrap it last week.

"Whitney's legacy and her devoted fans deserve perfection. After closely viewing the performance, we decided the hologram was not ready to air. We have much respect and appreciation for Christina, and she was absolutely flawless," the family's rep Pat Houston explained.

Aguilera and Grande weren't the only singers performing in the May 24 episode of "The Voice". Another coach Blake Shelton and former One Direction singer Zayn Malik also helped close out the competition's 10th season with a bang by treating viewers to their respective new music.

Fresh off releasing his new album "If I'm Honest", Shelton played one of its cuts called "She's Got a Way With Words". As for Malik, he recreated the "Like I Would" music video as he sang the tune amid laser lights.
