The 'As Good as It Gets' actress took to Instagram to tell a funny moment when a Starbucks barista misidentified her as the 'Money Monster' director.

AceShowbiz - Helen Hunt couldn't avoid a case of mistaken identity even though she's an Oscar-winning actress. The 52-year-old actress took to Instagram to share a story about a Starbucks barista who identified her as fellow Oscar winner Jodie Foster.

She uploaded a photo of her cup with the word "Jody" on it. In the caption, Helen explained that she previously asked if the barista needed her name for the cup when she ordered her drink, but the barista confidently refused Helen's offer to tell her name. Not only confusing Helen with Jodie, the barista also misspelled the "Money Monster" director's name, who's supposed to be "Jodie."

"Ordered my drink @Starbucks Asked the barista if she wanted my name. She winked and said. 'We gotcha' #JodieFoster #MoneyMonster #womeninfilm," Helen continued.

This is not the first time that the "As Good as It Gets" actress and the "Elysium" star have been misidentified for each other. Helen previously admitted that many people thought they resembled each other. During her appearance on "Late Show with David Letterman" back in 1994, she said, "A lot have people have said it. Last Thanksgiving it was my job to buy the Thanksgiving turkey, and I was in the supermarket and I got to the checkout counter with my 100-pound turkey, or something, and the guy is checking me out and says, 'You're Jodie Foster.' "

She almost got all the stuff she picked for free because the guy was Jodie's fan. However, after Helen showed him her driving license to prove that she's not Jodie, she had to pay her groceries. "No more free bird at all," she said while laughing. "He wanted to give me a free turkey, and then I'm not Jodie Foster, so pay up."
