'Blindspot' is moved to a tougher lot on Wednesday and new time-travel thriller 'Timeless' is paired with 'The Voice' on Monday as NBC is still considering the 'Cruel Intentions' TV adaptation.

AceShowbiz - NBC has revealed its fall schedule, adding three new series to its line-up and moving "Blindspot" and "The Blacklist" to new slots. "Blindspot" now occupies the Wednesdays at 8 P.M. slot, a troubled period which previously belonged to now-canceled shows "The Mysteries of Laura" and "Heartbeat". NBC Chairman Robert Greenblatt was optimistic about the shift though, telling reporters on Sunday, May 15, "We're excited about [having 'Blindspot'] jump-start that night."

"The Blacklist" is pushed one hour later from Thursdays at 9 P.M. to 10 P.M.. Greenblatt explained the move, "It will give it a strong lead-in - with 'Chicago Med' - something it hasn't had this last season." New time-travel thriller "Timeless" will receive a strong boost from "The Voice", being scheduled for Mondays at 10 P.M. after the popular singing competition series.

"This Is Us" starring Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia also lands the coveted spot after "The Voice" on Tuesdays at 9 P.M., while another new comedy "The Good Place" is paired with the returning "Superstore" on Thursday. "We've been working on Thursdays for the last couple years to get back what NBC used to have on that night," said Greenblatt.

Missing from the schedule is "The Carmichael Show" which was renewed later on Sunday for a 13-episode season 3. Such new series as "The Blacklist: Redemption", "Taken", "Emerald City", "Texas", "Powerless", "Great News", "Trial & Error", "Marlon" and "The Wall" are kept for midseason, but Greenblatt promised that "Taken" would get post-"Voice" slot on Mondays next year. He added that "The Celebrity Apprentice" with Arnold Schwarzenegger will return with a different title, "The New Celebrity Apprentice".

As for the "Cruel Intentions" TV adaptation which still hasn't got a series order, Greenblatt said it's not dead just yet. "We're still discussing it," he said, noting that "there's just so many shows that we have scheduled or ordered."

NBC has also debuted promos for three of its new shows, "Timeless", "This Is Us" and "The Good Place".
