AceShowbiz - Those who can't wait until FOX releases the first official look at the "Prison Break" revival may enjoy these early looks at the upcoming series. The set photos surfaced online as production officially kicked off on Thursday, April 7 at Coquitlam's Riverview Lands in Metro Vancouver.
%cDominic Purcell% who returns as Lincoln took to Instagram that day to share an image that gave behind-the-scenes look at the filming process. "#prisonbreak ..... First day #shoot," he simply captioned the shot that captured his face and some of the filming crew.
Most recently, %cSarah Wayne Callies% who is set to reprise her role as Sara was spotted at another filming location. She was pictured walking around a NY house off East Boulevard on Tuesday, April 12, wearing a green jacket on top of a white T-shirt and blue trousers.
The revival picks up after Michael's apparent death. Sara has moved on with her life, raising her and Michael's child with her new husband, portrayed by "Royal Pains" star %cMark Feuerstein%. When clues surface suggesting that Michael may be alive, Sara teams with Lincoln to engineer the series' biggest escape ever, as three of Fox River State Penitentiary's most notorious escapees, T-Bag, C-Note and Sucre, are pulled back into the action.
%cWentworth Miller% will reprise his role as Michael, with %cRobert Knepper%, %cRockmond Dunbar% and %cAmaury Nolasco% also returning as Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell, Benjamin Miles "C-Note" Franklin and Fernando Sucre respectively.
Paul T. Scheuring writes the script and serves as showrunner. The revival is scheduled to premiere during the 2016-17 broadcast season.
