AceShowbiz - While a lot of their fellow pop stars flocked to The Forum in Inglewood, California for the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards, Katy Perry and Nick Jonas briefly went country for the 2016 Academy of Country Music Awards. The two singers teamed up for duets with two country acts during the event held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday night, April 3.

Perry took the stage with Dolly Parton to perform some of the latter's biggest hits including "Coat of Many Colors", "Jolene" and "Nine to Five". The 31-year-old songbird donned a bright pink-and-yellow top paired with fishnet stockings and cow-print belt when joining the veteran diva, who wore colorful jacket, during the equally colorful performance.

Meanwhile, Jonas emerged on the stage after Kelsea Ballerini finished a solo rendition of her "Love Me Like You Mean It". The duo sang "Peter Pan" together as the 23-year-old hunk played the guitar.

The 2016 ACM Awards also saw performances from some of the biggest names in country music like Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton. The former played a new song called "Huntin', Fishin' And Lovin' Every Day" with the latter helping him sing some of the lyrics before launching into his own single, "Came Here to Forget".

Around the same time, Bryan released online the official music video for his track. Living up to its title, the clip follows the singer as he, his pals and his family spend the day going hunting and fishing.

Chris Stapleton, Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert were other acts highlighting the awards show. Stapleton brought along his wife Morgane Stapleton to the stage during "Fire Away" off his massively successful album, "Traveller". Urban and Lambert, meanwhile, linked up with Billy Gibbons for a cover of ZZ Top's "Tush".
