AceShowbiz - Sarah Silverman is the latest star added to the cast of "Battle of the Sexes". The 45-year-old comedian is joining Emma Stone and Steve Carell in the Fox Searchlight movie about the 1973 tennis match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs.

According to Deadline, Sarah is set to star as Gladys Heldman, who was the founder of World Tennis magazine. Gladys supported Billie Jean King (Emma) and other female players who formed the Virginia Slims Tour in the early 1970s, which was the precursor of today's WTA Tour. She is a member of the International Tennis Hall of Fame and the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.

Andrea Riseborough, Elisabeth Shue and Austin Stowell are also on board the pic with Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris directing from a script by Simon Beaufoy. Meanwhile, Decibel Films' Danny Boyle and Cloud Eight's Christian Colson are producing.

Sarah's upcoming films include "Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping" and "Kubo and the Two Strings".
