The catchy soon-to-be-hit was released Friday as the first official single off the rapper's upcoming sophomore album, 'Digital Distortion'.

AceShowbiz - Iggy Azalea is officially back! As promised, the Australia-born raptress dropped the anticipated "Team" on Friday, March 18 as the first official single off her upcoming sophomore album, "Digital Distortion".

The song landed online along with an accompanying video that sees a group of male and female dancers, all clad in denim outfits, busting out some energetic moves as Iggy raps the upbeat radio-friendly track, which includes earworm-y hook and shout-outs to former basketball player Reggie Miller, renowned composer Hans Zimmer and even reality TV star Kylie Jenner.

"Baby I got me, and that's all I need/ Yeah that's all I need/ Baby I got me, only friend I need/ Playing on my team/ Is someone like me," she sings the catchy hook and then adds, "Baby, no way, watch me while I do my thing/ Oh, baby, no way, are you f**king with the team?"

Co-written by Iggy herself, "Team" is her first solo single in two years. After releasing her 2014 album, "The New Classic" and its reissue "Reclassified", the 25-year-old star teamed up with Britney Spears last year for the latter's "Pretty Girls".

"Digital Distortion" is due out sometime this year. It has also been preceded by buzz track "Azillion" that was debuted last January. Iggy said during an appearance on Ryan Seacrest's "On Air" show that she had postponed her wedding to fiance Nick Young to embark on a tour to support the album.

"I'm planning my wedding, actually moved my wedding 'cause I have to tour, so my wedding plans are changing," she said. "It was going to happen at the end of the year, but now I have to go to work, so we'll probably have to wait until the end of the next basketball season to do that. So that kind of is a bit sucky, but it's alright."

Asked how Nick, who's playing for Los Angles Lakers, reacted to her decision to push back their wedding, the "Fancy" hitmaker shared, "[Nick's] really awesome and great and totally understanding. He's like, 'I can be a bachelor for longer,' and he's really milking it, he's really milking the whole thing."
