Jennifer Lopez's boyfriend is set to star as Billy Kostecki in the upcoming TV reboot of the 1987 romantic drama film.

AceShowbiz - Casper Smart is joining the cast of upcoming ABC's "Dirty Dancing (2017)" remake. Jennifer Lopez's beau will star as Johnny Castle's cousin Billy Kostecki, originally played by actor Neal Jones in the 1987 "Dirty Dancing".

Casper expressed his excitement on the casting news on Instagram on Tuesday, March 15. "SURPRISE!! Thanks @Deadline #ABC #LionsGate," he wrote alongside a link to an article about his casting. According to Deadline, J. Quinton Johnson has signed on as Marco, the lead singer and guitarist in Tito Suarez's band and one of the stars at Kellerman's.

Casper and J. Quinton are joining already announced cast members like Sarah Hyland, Abigail Breslin, Colt Prattes, Debra Messing and Nicole Scherzinger.

Like the 1987 feature, ABC's "Dirty Dancing" reboot centers on Baby (Abigail), an innocent young woman who vacations with her affluent parents and siblings in the Catskills. She later falls in love with Johnny (Colt), the resort's charismatic, skilled dance instructor and leader of the working-class entertainment staff. Billy (Casper) is the one who introduces Baby to "dirty dancing."

"Dirty Dancing (2016)" is written and directed by Wayne Blair. The movie is set to air for 180 minutes later this year.
