Ryan Reynolds continues to promote his highly successful movie "Deadpool" by jokingly joining the Oscars race. The actor campaigns for a last-minute write-in for his superhero movie to be an Oscar contender and wonders whether he's too late.

On his Twitter page, Reynolds debuts a "For Your Considerbation" poster which displays a Deadpool gold statue. "Only a few hours left for Oscar voting. Too late for a write-in campaign for an ineligible movie?" he captions the pic.

Among the accolades that the Tim Miller-directed movie achieved are Winners of Golden Girls from Betty White of "The Golden Girls" TV series. The actor was also hoping to get nominated for such categories as Best "Leaked" Footage and Best Love Scene for Deadpool and his baby hand.

"Deadpool", which premiered on theaters on February 12, is ineligible for an Oscar because it debuted after the calendar year of consideration. The ceremony will be held on February 28 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.
