Chandler Riggs also talks about how Carl's new injury will change his character's personality.

AceShowbiz - Remember the much-talked-about debate about Glenn's fate on "The Walking Dead"? Chandler Riggs says it will never happen again in the second half of season 6. The Carl depicter claims there will be no more fake deaths in the remainder of the season.

"There's not going to be another fake-out, like you believe a character is dead and they come back. And it's like, 'Just kidding!' That's not going to happen again. No way," he tells The Huffington Post. "I do think there are some big and exciting moments, and they're going to shock a lot of people."

Carl himself recently experienced a big moment in the midseason premiere, in which he was shot in the eye. In the comics, Carl has memory loss and his personality becomes darker in the aftermath of the incident. According to Riggs, the injury will definitely change his character a lot on the TV series.

"It was a lot different, definitely a lot different. I was trying to in some way, some physical way, change Carl to make him different," he says. "I was really excited because some of my best work is in the second half of the season, in my opinion. I'm really excited for that."

"The Walking Dead" airs Sundays at 9/8c on AMC.
