Find Out the Secret Behind Zendaya's DIY Makeup for Grammy Awards

The 19-year-old singer revealed beauty products she used to create her look for the Monday awards show, where she debuted her mullet hairstyle.

AceShowbiz - Zendaya Coleman grabbed people's attention at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards as she wore menswear-inspired outfit while debuting her mullet hairsytle. Instead of having beauty professionals, the 19-year-old singer decided to do her makeup herself.

"I love doing my own makeup for red carpets, I know my face the best," she said. Zendaya, who worked with her stylist Law Roach on her whole ensemble, explained that she chose natural makeup to match her outfit. "Together we picked out this awesome menswear-inspired suit and decided I would keep my makeup a bit more natural to balance out my look," she shared.

The "Shake It Up" alum later mentioned a series of beauty products that she used to create her look. She said that she didn't need a lot of money to buy expensive beauty products to do her makeup, because according to her, drugstore makeup was good enough. "I've always been a fan of drugstore makeup and I swear these palettes work just as good as the expensive ones," Zendaya explained.

First, she wanted to focus on her eyes because they're the most important parts that could enhance someone's look. "To define my eyes, I lined my upper lid with Intensify Me! Liquid Liner in Intense Black and finished with Plumpify Mascara," she added. "This mascara gives loads of volume by lifting the lashes from the root, making them stand out more. I always finish any look by grooming my brows - it's key!"

To perfect her skin, she used liquid foundation which she later topped with bronzer and natural-colored blush on. "The end look is flawless, yet my skin shines through and I don't feel overly made up," she said. She then lacquered her lips by mixing three shades of lip balms. "I love that these lip balms help to keep the lips hydrated while still providing a light wash of color," she stated.
