Claire's attempt to rewrite history and her reunion with her 1940s husband Frank are among things seen in the new trailer.

Starz has unveiled a new trailer of "Outlander" season 2 and also revealed when it would arrive. The second chapter of Claire's time-traveling story, which will be set in Paris, will kick off Saturday, April 9.
In the new trailer, meanwhile, we get a glimpse of a battle as part of the Jacobite rising, which Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) try to stop. The political issue aside, Jamie makes Claire promise that they will always find a way back to each other.
But in 1948, Claire's husband Frank (Tobias Menzies) is waiting for her and when they're finally reunited, she doesn't look happy. Balfe recently said due to what his doppelganger Black Jack did in the past, it wouldn't be easy for Claire to feel the same again about Frank.
"There is that reverse thing where every time she looks at Frank, she can't help but see Black Jack. There's many layers of why that relationship is difficult when she goes back. She's definitely not the same woman that left," the actress shared.
"Outlander" season 2 will also feature Sophie Skelton as Jamie and Claire's adult daughter, and Richard Rankin as the grown-up version of Reverend Wakefield's adopted son, Roger Wakefield.
