Taron Egerton has offered an update about "Kingsman: The Secret Service 2". The 26-year-old actor revealed what fans could expect from the sequel to "Kingsman: The Secret Service", saying that the second film would feature an "international story," unlike the first one which was shot entirely in the U.K.

While promoting his new film "Eddie the Eagle" with Hugh Jackman, Taron opened up a little bit about the "Kingsman" sequel. He said that the movie would start filming in the summer and it would introduce a new villain that would face off against Samuel L. Jackson's menacing character. He also said that the script was ready and it's brilliant. "With 'Kingsman', we're shooting in the summer at present. There's a script, it's brilliant," Taron shared.

He went on revealing that the sequel would go international and his character would probably embark on a globe-trotting adventure. "Obviously there's only so much I can say but what I can say is that we shot [the first] one all in the U.K., that won't be the case with the next one," he teased. "It's a far more international story, we're going to some incredible places, and we have a villain to rival Samuel L. Jackson - this new one is so brilliantly written I wish I could play it. It's amazing."

Taron and Samuel will reprise their roles as Gary "Eggsy" Unwin and Valentine respectively. There is no word yet on whether Colin Firth will be back to reprise his role as Harry Hart. With Matthew Vaugn returning to direct, "Kingsman 2" is due to arrive in North America on June 16, 2017.
