Stephen Amell shares a behind-the-scenes photo of Megalyn Echikunwoke in full makeup as the superheroine.

How Megalyn Echikunwoke will look like as Vixen on "Arrow" has been revealed. Sharing the first look was none other than the show's lead star himself, Stephen Amell. He posted on his Twitter a behind-the-scenes picture of them on the set of The CW's series.

Echikunwoke sported dark lipstick and Amell had dark circles around his eyes, but her costume wasn't seen in the image. "#Vixen is coming. Please welcome @Megalyn to the show," so the actor wrote along with the snap.

Vixen will appear in episode 15 of the fourth season. This marks the first live-action appearance of the character, who has been featured on Cartoon Network's "Justice League Unlimited" and voiced by Gina Torres. Echikunwoke voices the character on CW Seed's animated web-series centering on the superheroine.

"We're not only thrilled to be further expanding our DC television universe by bringing in the live-action incarnation of the CW Seed hit, Vixen, we're immensely excited that Megalyn will be revisiting her role as Mari McCabe," said executive producer Marc Guggenheim when announcing Echikunwoke's casting last year.

The CW's President Mark Pedowitz recently hinted that the character could get her own TV series. "Hopefully, that character could actually spin itself out, if not, maybe join as one of the Legends [of Tomorrow]," he said at the Winter TCA press tour earlier this month.
