Zoolander shares the spotlight with the 2016 Fiat 500X in the commercial ad aired on Sunday, January 10 during the Golden Globe Awards broadcast. Ben Stiller returns as his character Derek Zoolander who gets behind the wheels of a yellow Fiat and makes good use of the traffic camera.

Zoolander, a retired model, flashes his signature "Blue Steel" look to a traffic camera over and over. Moving back and forth, he continues driving over the speed limit to trigger the camera and seize the opportunity. A police officer eventually comes to arrest him and shows him the numerous mugshots.

The ad is a cross-promotion between FCA and Paramount Pictures. The Golden Globes debuted the 60-second version of the spot but a shorter-by-half version will begin airing on Monday. "Zoolander 2" will hit theaters February 12, starring as well Owen Wilson, Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell.

"Joining forces with Paramount Pictures and 'Zoolander 2' allows us to align the Fiat 500X with a pop culture moment through one of this year's most anticipated films," said Olivier Francois, FCA's chief marketing officer, in a statement. "Having international fashion icon Derek Zoolander -- who is known for his distinctive style and playful spirit -- behind the wheel of the Fiat 500X provides exceptional relevance to the global message of the FIAT brand."
