"Once Upon a Time" has found a new Gaston. The ABC fantasy drama series casts former "True Blood" and "Private Practice" star Wes Brown in the role of the chiseled hunter, who was previously played by Sage Brocklebank in one episode of the first season.

According to Variety which first reported the casting news, Gaston will appear in an episode which explores Belle's (Emilie De Ravin) life before she met her true love Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle). It's currently unknown when the episode featuring Gaston will air.

This isn't the first time "OUAT" recasts its character. Tom Ellis played Robin Hood in an episode of season 2 before Sean Maguire took over the role in season 3.

"OUAT" returns with the second half of its fifth season Sunday, March 6 at 8 P.M. ET on ABC. The show will feature Teri Reeves as the all-grown-up Dorothy Gale, and Greg Germann as Hades.
