Nicki Minaj Shares Sweet Message to Fans on 'The Pinkprint' Album's Anniversary

To celebrate the record's first anniversary, which earns her three nominations at the upcoming Grammy Awards, the raptress thanks fans on Instagram.

AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj's "The Pinkprint" turned 1 on Tuesday, December 15. To celebrate her 2014 album's very first anniversary, the Young Money first lady took to Instagram early in the day to thank fans for their support.

"My beloved fans just reminded me that Dec 15th is the anniversary of my 3rd album. I don't know how u guys always keep track of these things for me but I appreciate u more than you will ever understand," she wrote, captioning a photo of playlist made up of songs from the album.

"U know how emotional this one was, I really can't imagine where I'd be w/o your unwavering love & support. To all the artists & media who supported as well, thank you," she added.

Following its arrival last year, "The Pinkprint" debuted and peaked at No. 2 on Billboard 200. It spawned multiple hits like "The Night Is Still Young", "Truffle Butter", "Only" and "Anaconda". The latter became Minaj's highest-charting single to date in the U.S. when it reached No. 2 on Billboard Hot 100.

The album is currently up for the Best Rap Album trophy at the upcoming 58th Grammy Awards. Meanwhile, "Only" and "Truffle Butter" are vying for the top prizes in Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and Best Rap Performance categories, respectively.
