The sneak peek for the series finale teases celebration and changes in the Yorkshire country house as the beloved characters sing a solemn rendition of 'Auld Lang Syne'.

AceShowbiz - This Christmas, there will be smiles, kisses and tears on "Downton Abbey". In the final episode that will air on Christmas Day in the U.K., everyone's favorite aristocrats are celebrating the festivity while preparing for some changes.

There will be farewells as Thomas (Rob James-Collier) is eventually leaving the Yorkshire country house on good terms and guess what, someone begs him to stay. Carson (Jim Carter) says to Lord Grantham (Hugh Bonneville), "The world is a different place, my lord. And Downton Abbey must change with it."

Tom Branson (Allen Leech) welcomes a new opportunity and there's a lot of kisses, all set to the servants' rendition of "Auld Lang Syne".

While fans in the U.K. will bid farewell to the hit period drama this Christmas, viewers in the U.S. have to wait until January 3, 2016 for the season 6 premiere. The Christmas special which also serves as the series finale, meanwhile, will air March 6 on PBS.
