These movie characters are just as obsessed with Adele as everyone else is. A bunch of notable characters from popular films are "covering" the British singer's smashing hit "Hello" in a mash-up created by YouTube user Matthijs Vlot.

The mash-up was posted on Vlot's YouTube channel earlier this week. The two-minute video features brief scenes from various movies like "Harry Potter", "Star Wars", "Terminator", "Anchorman", "The Lion King", "E.T." and many more.

"Hello" is currently spending its fifth consecutive week at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100. The song leads Adele's "25" album, which recently landed atop Billboard 200 with more than 3.3 million copies sold. The record is projected to sell another 950,000 in its second week.

In other Adele news, the 27-year-old last month played a one-off concert at Radio City Music Hall. Before the show airs on December 14 on NBC, the network shared on Wednesday, December 2 a trailer for the special which will include the singer's performance of "Hello" and "When We Were Young" among others.
