Jared Leto tries to win over his neighbors after upsetting them with a super noisy Halloween party last month. As a peace offering, the Oscar-winning actor has given his neighbors pumpkin pies, according to TMZ.
The site obtained a picture of one of the pies from Whole Foods which Leto sent to his neighbors this Thanksgiving. On the box, the "Dallas Buyers Club" star allegedly wrote, "Happy Thanksgiving! From: Your Neighbor, Jared Leto."
Leto just moved to Laurel Canyon this fall and annoyed them when he held a Halloween party at his mansion in October. The angry neighbors said his guests "wreaked havoc" in the neighborhood.
One neighbor even took to the neighborhood's Facebook page to complain that Leto's guests made a lot of noise and blocked people's driveways. "Dear Jared Leto," the neighbor wrote, "It's really cool that you're having a party at your compound. Perhaps you could educate all the people coming to your place the proper etiquette of driving uphill/downhill so as not to wreak havoc on the neighborhood at 10:30pm."
"Also, your guests should respect the residents and not park on the wrong side of the street blocking other peoples [sic] driveways. Thanks!!" the neighbor added. "I should be able to drive to my home and park without altercations from entitled people who do not even live in the neighborhood."
