Due to the surgeries Angelina Jolie underwent to remove her ovaries and fallopian tubes earlier this year, the actress experienced early menopause. Unlike most people, the 40-year-old actress surprisingly admitted that she loved being in menopause.
"I actually love being in menopause," the Oscar-winning actress told The Daily Telegraph. She explained, "I haven't had a terrible reaction to it, so I'm very fortunate. I feel older, and I feel settled being older. I feel happy that I've grown up. I don't want to be young again."
Angelina's husband Brad Pitt also joined the interview with the news outlet. Brad said of how Angelina was like when she directed him in their new movie "By the Sea", "Decisive, incredibly intuitive, knife-sharp and, might I say, sexy at her post." In response to her husband's comment, Angelina giggled and said, "Well, I would hope it's more than that at my post..."
Regarding her sex scenes with Brad in the movie, Angelina admitted, "I prefer them! But it's awkward that there are so many people around, and you know what? It's awkward to direct them." She continued, "That's the strangest thing, when the director has to tell the actor to perform a particular kind of seduction. Where to put his hand, where to put his... Which is a very funny thing to be doing when it's your husband."
