'Wonder Woman' Villains' Roles May Be Connected to 'Batman v Superman'
Movie

It is rumored that Ares and Circa will be the movie's main villains whose roles may bring the Amazonian Princess to 'Dawn of Justice'.

AceShowbiz - Previous rumors about Gal Gadot's "Wonder Woman said that Diana Prince would fight against Circe and the God of War Ares, who would team up to wreak havoc. Following the unconfirmed rumors, Heroic Hollywood reveals how the two villains will fit in the plot of the upcoming movie and states that the role of those adversaries will be connected to the event in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".

The site suggests that in "Wonder Woman", Ares has a sword he stole from the Amazons that can make him become the most powerful god in the universe and can give him abilities to defeat Zeus and conquers Olympus. However, the sword is locked and he needs to start World War III in order to gain a psychic power to activate it. Ares will come into play from behind the scene, recruiting Circe to commence the war. However, after the final battle at the end of "Wonder Woman", the sword disappears and Diana is presumably looking for it in "Batman v Superman".

"Game of Thrones" star Sean Bean is rumored to take the role of Ares while Eva Green is reported to play Circe. "Wonder Woman" is said to center on Gadot's Amazonian Princess who becomes emissary to civilization in her home of Paradise Island in the 1920s. It also follows her journey as Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) brings her outside the island. Directed by Patty Jenkins, "Wonder Woman" is slated for a release in U.S. theaters on June 23, 2017.
