Beyonce Knowles, Jay-Z and Blue Ivy dressed up as characters from 1988's film "Coming to America" for Halloween. Beyonce shared on Instagram on Sunday, November 1 a photo collage of her family with their costumes.
Beyonce channeled one of three female rose bearers who followed Prince Akeem and his family in the movie. She wore a yellow printed dress paired with a black-and-white fur coat and large belt. The "Run the World" hitmaker completed her look with a large purple head wraps, gold earrings, necklace and bracelets.
Jay-Z dressed up as Prince Akeem of Zamunda, played by Eddie Murphy, by sporting a fake mustache, fake long braid and fake big cat skin over the shoulder of his black suit. Blue, meanwhile, wore a semi-sheer gold patterned dress and high ponytail, resembling Vanessa Bell Calloway's character Imani Izzi, one of Prince Akeem's potential brides.
Beyonce added another photo of Blue licking a lollipop.
Beyonce and Jay-Z wore their costumes to 1OAK nightclub in New York City on Saturday, October 31. The pair reportedly spent about an hour there and sat at one of the owner's tables. "Beyonce and Jay were dancing and having a great time with each other," a source told E! News, "They were acting very much in love and into each other. They left around 2 A.M."
Last week, Beyonce dressed up as Storm from "X-Men" by wearing grey hair and white contact lenses while attending Ciara's superhero-themed birthday bash in Los Angeles.
